Concept
Inspired by the famous Ancient Minoan Palace sites of Knossos, Phaistos and Malia, the OUT OF THE BLUE, Capsis Elite Resort features a brand new fairyland and historical amusement park of about 4.000 sq. m. for children from 4 to 14 years of age and their parents.

This park constitutes a unique venue ideal for children’s parties and activities.

This Minoan Amusement Park is the only Minoan Mythological Park in Greece and the only theme park within a resort in Greece, introducing children to the world of Minoan and Greek Mythology where the Ancient World is recreated in front of their playful eyes.

It consists of a main Minoan Palace with various facilities and a range of outdoor game areas.

Costumes By Yiannis Metzikof

The Capsis Minoan Amusement Park will feature two costumes designed by Yiannis Metzikof. The male costume represents the “Prince of the Lilies” and the female costume represents the “Minoan Queen of Snakes”

These two tailor-made costumes will be exhibited within safe stands for all guests to observe.

Yannis Metzikof was born in Crete, Greece in 1955. He was educated at the Athens School of Fine Art where he studied painting under Yannis Moralis and stage design under Vassilis Vassiliades. As a stage designer he has been working for the Greek National Theatre and other independent theatre companies.

Crèche Facilities
Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort is offering crèche facilities (6 months to 4 years old).

The day nursery will be run by a team of fully qualified, professionally trained staff with certificate in childcare. 

• The crèche will accept six month year old babies up to four year old children.
