Dear Future Customer, Eleoparagogiki S.A is a private company created
5 years ago by 1200 Cretan olive - oil farmers of the Chania Region in Northwestern Crete.
Our initial activity was the trading of our member's olive oil in bulk quantities. For the
past two years we have been expanding in the trading of our olive oil as a bottled
product. We have created two brand names: " Farmers" and "1200" for
the Greek, American, German, British and Japanese markets. We also produce various private
labels in order to accommodate the particular needs of our customers. Our current business
cycle is approximately 2.000 metric tones on an annual basis.
We have focused our activities on the
extra virgin olive oil, which is the natural product of our region. Northwestern Crete is
considered by specialists as the site with ideal climate conditions and soil quality for
olive tree cultivation, therefore almost 90% of its production is of extra quality.
That factor, along with modern methods
of cultivation and traditional methods of cultivation and traditional methods of
cold-pressed extraction, result in an olive oil with superb taste, aroma and natural green
color and is considered by specialists as the best in the world.
Our extra virgin olive oil is now
exported to Germany, Holland, U.K., Finland, Belgium, Norway Japan and the U.S.
In order to achieve this, we have
perfected our quality control system, which is unique for the standards of the Greek olive
oil industry. A series of strict quality controls in every phase of production, starting
from the cultivation of the olive tree, until the bottling of the final product, has been
enforced. These strict controls guarantee that the final product will always be perfected
in terms of hygiene and appearance, when it reaches the consumer.
The aforementioned facts make
Eleoparagogiki a unique olive oil organization, which produces, processes and trades its
own high quality extra virgin olive oil thus giving it a competitive edge in the industry. |
